NOCKALMSTRASSE
The 34 km long Nockalm Road between Innerkrems in the north and Ebene Reichenau in the south is undoubtedly one of the most varied and beautiful alpine roads that you can experience by car, motorcycle and bus. With a gentle gradient, the panoramic road winds its way up and down between the “Nock’n” in 52 hairpin bends and numerous curves, with a breathtaking view.
NOCKY FLITZER
The hit with young and old is the alpine roller coaster Nocky Flitzer: a toboggan run with which you can whizz down into the valley spectacularly as well as safely in winter as in summer. Cutting curves through the pine forest, traffic circles, wave tracks and jumps – the total length of 1.6 kilometers is unique and spectacular.
MYTH GEMSTONE WREATH MAKER
The Kranzelbinder family’s highlight, open all year round, is located directly on the idyllic 3-lake circular hiking trail and vis à vis the Nocky Flitzer summer toboggan run. On more than 500 m² of exhibition space, precious and gemstones from all continents of the world, as well as local rarities from the Alpine region and Nock area, provide an unforgettable sparkle in your eyes.

HAPPS’S REPTILE ZOO & DINOSAUR GARDEN
The Happ Reptile Zoo in Klagenfurt was opened on April 1, 1976. Millions of people have already visited this zoo. They were educated about the worthiness of protection of the unjustly persecuted and feared snakes, and their fears were thus reduced.

Due to our location in the heart of Carinthia, we are also the ideal starting point for your Carinthian vacation. A special experience for the children and all Heidi fans is our Heidi Park in the summer, where the children playfully learn everything about life in the mountains with the help of characters from the Heidi cartoon.
GROSSGLOCKNER HIGH ALPINE ROAD

The high mountains and the Großglockner: what was once reserved for experienced mountaineers, has been an experience for young and old since the construction of the Großglockner High Alpine Road. Much has changed since the opening of the Alpine Road in 1935. The road became wider, safer and more comfortable. Exhibitions and museums, huts and mountain inns, visitor centers and information points put the spotlight on the diverse mountain world with its fauna & flora in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park.
CITY TOUR VILLACH
If you have the time and inclination, walk from 8 May Square not towards the main square, but south through 10 October Street, lined with imposing buildings and green front gardens. At the end it opens to the city park with the neo-Gothic style Protestant church (built in 1901 – 1903). Also attract stately mansions from the 19. and 20th c. and the small Schiller Park with the relief of Carinthia made on a scale of 1:10,000.
VEHICLE, RADIO AND CLOCK MUSEUM VILLACH
Classic car museum “The little man’s dreams of owning a car in the 50s”. With the first vehicle also came the wanderlust to drive to the border or to the sea. 260 pieces of the vintages 1927-1990 are to be found with us perhaps also yours from that time. Furthermore, a restoration workshop and a radio museum with over 1000 devices on 200 m².

WOOD MUSEUM ST. RUPRECHT
The Wood Museum in St.Ruprecht ob Murau in the district of Murau proudly presents its roof and the unusual dormer window. It stands out like a diamond from the roof of the main house, a former cattle barn. A symbol that should show us that the traditional does not exclude the modern.
THE MURTAL RAILWAY
With an operating length of around 65 km, the Murtalbahn Unzmarkt – Murau – Tamsweg is the longest STLB railroad line and extends beyond the Styrian border into the Lungau region of Salzburg. All traffic on this railroad line is controlled by the train manager in Murau via train radio. The Murtalbahn from Unzmarkt to Tamsweg is integrated into the Styrian and Salzburg transport networks.
DONKEY PARK MALTATAL
The family park “Donkey Park – Maltatal” is located in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park in Carinthia and is home to over 100 animals of various breeds. The park has a size of 30,000 square meters and is accessible by visitors as well as suitable for wheelchair users. The children are guided in the paddock and enchanted by the comfortable gait of the donkeys.

For our youngest as well as for the somewhat older children, the forest offers a wide range of fun, action and entertainment.
